Loved Homer, AK

Welcome to Homer, AK.

Beautiful! See the dark strip in the water on the left side of the picture? That's Homer Spit. Really neat place.

Very bright with the sun on the water. This is the Cook Inlet, and the boat route to Anchorage, AK. A few of these mountains are volcanoes, and one is currently somewhat active, lots of seismic activity. Mt Redoubt last erupted in 1989 and 1990. I've been watching this web-site: http://www.avo.alaska.edu/activity/avoreport.php?view=update

This small "pond" sure gathers lots of fisherman, out on Homer Spit. Can't remember what they were catching...

Cleaning the fish.

As I was taking this picture of the seagulls feeding on the remains, the eagle flew into the picture!!! WOW!!!

And even if the previous picture was a seagull, it really did happen, and this IS an eagle!

Got him a second time!
