More Coast

The views along the road were spectacular. We stopped in viewing areas that were big enough for the Airstream to park.


The Oregon Geology sign talks about Tsunamis.


These rocks that stick out of the water are called haystacks. They are remnents of old volcanic activity. They don't weather like the surrounding rocks.


This one is huge. Can you see the people to the right at the bottom? The white dots are seagulls sitting all over it.

The tall cloud over the coast is really a rain cloud. We watched it move from over the ocean to over the land. Rain, sun, rain, sun all day, every day out here.

I opened up the picture of the giant rock with the white spots (aka seagulls). It's pretty amazing how MANY gulls there are & they aren't even visible on the tiny picture! Nice shots Mom!

I can't decide which one I like best in this set, but picture 2 and 4 makes you think you are there. You sure take great pictures!
